History always repeats itself in us.
For my contemporaries in Iran, historical memory plays an important role.
We have not lived in the bitter history of Iran, but it is always present in our minds and it is as if we are living with our past. For a country like Iran, which has always been invasion and looting by foreign powers, and after which it has spent many bitter days inside and with domestic powers, history is constantly repeating itself. It is as if we are stuck in a vicious cycle of history and the past is constantly connected to our present and future.
